The 2025 Desert Dynasty League Pre-Draft Power Rankings are here, and the tiers have never been more sharply defined. Last season’s final standings gave us plenty to chew on, from dominant regular-season performances to hard-luck heartbreakers.
This year’s draft will test every GM’s ability to balance risk, reward, and roster chemistry. Will the Heavyweights hold the crown, or is a Contender ready to crash the party?

Tier 1 – The Heavyweights
(Championship or Bust)
Worthy No More (Joe V leads the pack after a 9-2 season with a league-best +14.1 differential. Efficient, disciplined, and the nightmare of every opponent’s schedule, Joe’s squad is the early title favorite.
Hot on his heels, Team Flying Fish (John F) boasts a dangerous offense and a +10.5 diff, proving they can score in bunches and win shootouts.
Bobby Bouche (Marc F) rounds out Tier 1, bringing a +11.9 diff and the chip-on-the-shoulder energy of a team that tasted “almost” last year.
Tier 2 – The Contenders
(Knocking on the Door)
So Purdy It Hurts (Rob F) lit up the scoreboard at 121.6 PF/G but must patch up the defense to make a title run.
London Calling (Jeremy S) and LaPorta Potty (Brian H) both have winning potential if they can find consistency and capitalize on big-game moments.

Tier 3 – The Wild Cards
(Boom or Bust)
Brown and Harry (Scott S) has the tools but needs to close out tight games.
Gibbs Me Some Love (Jason B) is as middle-of-the-pack as it gets — which means they’re one lucky break away from a deep run.
In My Losing Era (Aaron L) wasn’t as bad as the name implies and could quickly flip the script with defensive improvements.
Tier 4 – The Long Shots
(Needing a Miracle or Two)
No Fournette Play (Matt G) fought hard but couldn’t win enough close calls.
Everyday I’m Russellin’ (DeLoy B) struggled to find the end zone and will need an offensive overhaul.
Davis (Eric D) took more than their share of hits last year, but the only way to go from his 12th place regular season finish is up.
