Born and raised under the bright lights of Las Vegas, Neal Down has been a lifelong NFL fanatic, sharpening his gridiron knowledge since the days when his only “press box” was the living room couch. He’s been happily married to his beautiful wife, Fall Down—a match made in football pun heaven—for over 24 years. Together, they’ve raised twelve energetic kids who keep the Down household in a constant two-minute drill, and are enough to fill an NFL team.
Neal earned his undergraduate degree from Brigham Young University, where he majored in Communications and minored in “explaining bad play calls to his roommates.” He later graduated from Stanford University with a Master’s degree in Sports Analytics, cementing his reputation as the go-to guy for breaking down both defenses and dinner menus.
When he’s not on assignment visiting NFL teams, Neal is an avid traveler—checking off stadiums and countries with equal enthusiasm—and can often be found on the sidelines cheering his kids on in their soccer, basketball, and flag football games. His philosophy is simple: whether it’s your fantasy lineup or your kid’s 4th grade basketball team, the right game plan can make all the difference.
