A keeper will cost the owner the same round draft pick they were drafted by the owner in the immediately preceding season as long as the keeper is eligible.
For a player to be eligible as a keeper, the following conditions must be satisfied:
- Drafted 4th round or later.
- Not been a keeper from the prior season to which we are currently drafting.
- Must remain on your roster for the entirety of the season, including playoffs. ESPN indicates whether the player remained on your season the entire season by indicating acquisition type as Draft or Free Agency. If the ESPN team roster lists the player acquisition type as “Free Agency”, but you drafted them, it means you dropped then added them back, and the player is not an eligible keeper.
- If you select a keeper prior to the deadline, then they become injured right before the draft where they are or may be placed on season ending IR, you will have the option to change your keeper.
